Call for abstracts for the poster session

The EHF annual conference "Environmental Health: New Perspectives” will take place December 25th, 2018. 
Abstracts of environmental health research may be submitted for presentation at the poster session.
The poster session will include a competition in which two outstanding posters will be chosen.
 
Submission deadline: November 8, 2018
 

Topics include: 
Air pollution (ambient and indoor)
Environmental contaminants, including chemicals in consumer products
Children’s Environmental Health
Exposure assessment
Environmental Health Economics
Environmental Health Regulation and Policy
Water quality 
Indoor air quality
Pesticides 
Cardiovascular diseases
Endocrine and metabolic diseases
Neurobehavioral effects
Reproductive outcomes
Respiratory outcomes
Cancer
Methods (including statistical)
Additional topics: Environmental Health Policy, Greenspace, Built Environment, Spatial Epidemiology and GIS, Health Impact Assessment

Submission guidelines
Abstracts should be submitted as WORD documents using the following cover page.

Abstract length is limited to 250 words, should be written in English and include the following sections: background, aims, methods, results and conclusions. The file name should be the first author’s surname and initial (example: Levy_J).  

Abstracts should be sent to: info@ehf.org.il. Acknowledgment of abstract receipt will be sent within 2 working days.

A researcher or group of researchers who are interested in submitting multiple abstracts may do so. Accepted abstracts will be presented in the poster session on the day of the conference.

Two travel awards to international conferences in the field will be granted to outstanding posters. Researchers whose abstracts are accepted and would like to take part in the outstanding poster competition will need to submit a file of the poster itself at the beginning of December.
