Research Grant for EHF Returning Post-Docs

Eligibility:

Returning EHF postdoctoral fellows who are affiliated (at least 3/4 of their time) with public or private nonprofit institutions/organizations (including institutions of higher education and hospitals) located in Israel are eligible to apply. Proposals must be submitted by the returning fellows through his/her affiliated institution. The Principal Investigator (PI) must be a returning EHF postdoctoral fellow.

 

Typical Grant:
The returning fellows may choose between two available routes:

  • Pilot study - Apply for a grant for a pilot study in the amount of up to $25,000 for one year after which the EHF returning fellow may apply for the remaining $50,000.
  • Full Proposal - Applying for a research grant of up to $75,000 that will be spent over the course of three years.

 

Submission Timetable:
The postdoctoral fellow may submit a proposal beginning three months prior to returning to Israel and up to one year after his/her return.
The total funds should be used within five years of the date of the fellow’s return to Israel.
