The Environment and Health Fund (EHF) will award stipends for short professional courses abroad. Short courses are intended for Israeli graduate students, including medical students and practitioners, in academia, government and NGOs, wishing to expand their knowledge and deepen their understanding of the impact of environmental pollution on human health.
Application process:
Candidates interested in applying for an EHF short course stipend for one of the courses offered in 2012 should contact, in writing, EHF at info@ehf.org.il by the final date mentioned under each course below. Please entitle the subject line as “Short Courses”.
Applicants should include the following information in ENGLISH:
Name, date of birth, ID number, passport number, full contact information, current occupation or stage in studies.
A brief explanation of why you wish to attend the course you are applying for and how it will help you in your current employment or course of study.
Student applicants are requested to include a recommendation letter from their thesis advisor or a faculty member. The letter should be regarded as confidential and submitted by the faculty member directly to EHF at info@ehf.org.il.
The maximum stipend to help defray short course expenses is $3,000.
