In May 2005 an international Advisory Committee on Environment and Health visited Israel. The international fact-finding committee met with over 60 individuals during the course of a one week visit to Israel and the findings and recommendations of the committee were published in monograph form, ''Environmental Health in Israel: Towards Enhancing Capacity and Capabilities.'' The report details the current state of the art in Environment and Health in Israel and offers an extensive set of recommendations for improvements.
